Kirsty and Nicks Wedding

In November 2014 a very good friend of mine got married and this is the card that I made for her and her husband.

The papers are from a 12x12 Wedding collection I have, the frame around the image is from my Silhouette machine, aswell as the hearts.  There are silk flowers layered one ontop another and using a glitter star brad, a heart embellishment and glitter letters of their initials.  In one of the flowers I used a brad with the letter 'L' to honor of her son Lucas.  The sentiments are from a collection that I inherited, not sure where exactly they are from.

The image is from Tiddlyinks and is absolutely gorgeous, I love this image and I coloured in the dress with a silver glitter pen.

SBS Challenge - Demonic Babe

For this challenge we were allowed to have Demonic Babe to make either a good card or a bad card.  I choose to do a bad card, which meant dark colours and embellishments.

I chose to do a bad Demonic Babe, as I wanted the challenge of trying to do dark colours.  The ribbon is from a Christmas selection I have and all the papers are from personal stashes.  The bat and spider embellishments are from a set of chipboard halloween cutouts I received in the last swap and so are the flowers.  The dots are done with a black and white Perla Pens.

Sympathy Card

I made a sympathy card for a very dear friend who lost her brother in a nasty tragedy. I used an image by SimplyBettyStamps called KathyO'DellAngel

Such a lovely image and ideal for a sympathy card.  I coloured her using suttle shades of pink and blue with golden hair.
