Fangtasia

This image is from The Stamping Chef and is called Fangtasia. I used my promarkers to colour her in and the cobra and tree are from a free image site on the web, as are the papers.

There was a little True Blood theme here for this one. The link to purchase Fangtasia is:-

Noel Demented Beauty

This lovely stamp is from The Stamping Chef and is called Demented Beauty.  I decided to colour her in Christmas colours.  I used Promarkers Crimson and Forest Green for the hat and clothes, Antique Pink for her eye-shadow and lips and a gold glitter pen for the skull and crossbones.

The accents are from Freebies that I got with Papercraft Magazine, aswell as the papers.  On this photo you can see white bits round her feet and abit round the hair, I have actually coloured these in with Pale Blue to blend in better with the background.

Little Indian Betty vs Pilgrim Corinne Part 2

 Pilgrim Corinne:- Thanksgiving colours

I used the same papers for both cards, and again the embellishments are from Miss Kate Cuttables.

The images can be purchased from Simply Betty Stamps store page at:-

Little Indian Betty vs Pilgrim Corinne

For this months challenge over on Simply Betty Stamps we were allowed to choose either Little Indian Betty or Pilgrim Corinne with the choice to do both if we so wished.  I choose to do both as they are both super cute.

The guidelines were:
Little Indian Betty:- Thanksgiving colours and Feathers

I finished this card off with some Thanksgiving embellishments that I got as freebies from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The papers are part of a Thanksgiving Backing Paper Set that I have and the feathers are from Wilkinsons kiddie craft section.

You can purchase the image here:-

Happy Birthday Tamara

This card is my Birthday card for Tamara and The Stamping Chef.  For this card I used one of TSC's new Digi stamps called Prudence and the sentiment on this card reads - 'Time flies friendship stays'.

With this digital stamps, I decided to try something a little different on the colouring and instead of using my promarkers I actually used a graphics program called 'Gimp' and I'm quite happy with the outcome.

We have a a special surprise for Tamara on her website The Stamping Chef so head over and take a look the link is below:-

Easel Card Challenge

For the Easel Card Challenge I used the image 'Leg or Breast' from The Stamping Chef.  I have never made an easel card before, so this was quite a challenge for me.

The pumpkins are from Miss Kate Cuttables, flowers and dollie are from Dovecraft. Thanksgiving papers and the quote was cut on the Silhouette and something I came up with.

Happy Birthday Betty x

I would like to wish Betty Roberts of Simply Betty Stamps a very Happy Birthday for the 11th November. This card was made for her as part of a Blog Hop and as a very lovely surprise for her when she receives them all in the post, hope she has plenty of shelve space to display them all.

Hope you have a wonderful day Betty and that you are spoiled rotten by family and friends, you deserve it. Hope you like all your cards and that we don't make you cry to much hun x

The image for the card was provided by the very talented Tamara of The Stamping Chef, who made this image especially for Betty's Birthday Card.  Details will follow for how to purchase her.

For this card I made her in light colours, blue, orange, red and purple and yellow for her hair.  I coloured the bat and skull in ice grey and covered in glitter.
The backing paper is from the 'I'm Me' Digital papers by The Stamping Chef. The Dollies are from Dovecraft and I used a pink and green and because I couldnt decide which colour to use, I folded them both in half and then placed them down as one, which I actually think works better and placed red gems on the centre of the flowers.
The flowers are also from Dovecraft and I layered 3 different colours and a gem for the centre. The Happy Birthday tag and butterflies are from packs received with my Papercraft Magazine.

Laylah - TSC

I am loving These new images of Tamara's of The Stamping Chef.  This one is Laylah and she is just heavenly.

This is actually the second colouring I have done of Laylah, the first one she is wearing purple. I preferred the green for this card and situation. For her wings I actually started out colouring them in with 2 ice grey shades and the blender and then I went over them with a glitter glue pen and covered the wings in glitter and I love them.

I used the usual colours for the face and skin, Cocoa, Sunkissed Pink and Blush, Baby Pink for the cheeks and Antique Pink for her lips.

The dress is coloured in using 3 different shades of green, Forest, Lime and Bright Green. Her hair is done in shades of brown, Walnut, Cocoa and Sandstone.

For the background I used a backing paper from Mulberrys winter collection. The pale pink paper behind Laylah is from a pack that I got with Papercraft Magazine.

I used a flower border for the top and bottom of the card and placed 3 red rhinestones on each. The birdcage is from a Paris pack and the Bonjour is also from a pack that I again got from Papercraft Magazine.  The flowers are from Dovecraft and I layered them with either 3 or 4 and in varied colours, with a rhinestone in each centre.

Serina

This image is from The Stamping Chef and is called Serina and is my Design Team creation for a Die Cuts and Ribbons challenge which begins on the 6th Nov over on The Stamping Chefs Blog and Fan Page on Facebook, come along and join the fun, the link can be found below with the link for Sirena.

This is the link to The Stamping Chef to purchase Serina, http://thestampingchef.oo.gd/Store/store/products/sirena/

This is the link to The Stamping Chef Challenge Blog where you can upload your creations, http://thestampingchef.oo.gd/Challenges/

This is the link to The Stamping Chef Recipe fan-page on Facebook if you would like to join in with the challenges,  https://www.facebook.com/groups/TSCRecipes/

Sirena is coloured in with Letraset Promarkers, the tail and ear are Green shades, Bright Green and Lime Green and then the spots I dotted on with a darker shade, Forest Green.

The skin is coloured in using shades, Coral, Sunkissed Pink and Blush, Baby Pink was used to make the cheeks look rosy and Antique Pink on the lips.  The hair was coloured in using shades, Mustard, Buttercup and Ivory.  Purple Violet was used for the shell bra, eyeshadow and the harp.

I decided to print her directly onto a tag that I got from my Silhouette Machine and coloured in with a sea blue background.  The seaweed is also an image from Silhouette and surrounded with glitter to give a shimmery watery look.
I used different sized flat bottom pearls to simulate bubbles and I found some tiny wooden fish which were given a glittery makeover to make shimmer and a small flatbottom pearl for an eye and I think they work quite well. Three small ribbons were added too.

The backing paper is called Argylle and is a free paper from the net.  The flowers are from Dovecraft's Back to Basics IV with a gem in the middle of each.  I then finished it off with tiny clear gems dotted about in Sirena's hair which I love.

Hope you like it x

Keep Calm & Craft

This image is courtesy of The Stamping Chef and is part of her Wordart Collection.  It is part of the 'Keep Calm & Craft' challenge over on The Stamping Chef Recipes Group page on Facebook.

I decided to make a picture that could be hung on the wall.  I had an old inner frame from a picture frame that I had bought ages ago.
I used a lovely pink background paper that has beautiful butterflies and flowers on, aswell as a strip of green checkers.  I then decided to bring up the starch lines of the frame by using cut out flowers and butterflies to decorate the corners of the inner frame.  I used green rhinestones for the inner parts of the flowers to give them depth and sparkle, rhinestones on the image in each of the corners in different colours just to break up the pink.  The Cupcake is a little something to add sweetness to the whole creation.

I think this would make a wonderful addition to any Crafting or Sewing Room.
